Easy to book in, super friendly staff and I left with a great blow dry for my Christmas party.I was offered a hot drink on arrival and even one to take away afterwards. Great salon!
Visited K2 for the first time and had a fantastic time! From the moment I walked through the door everyone was friendly and welcoming. The consultation made me feel they understood what I was looking for. Fantastic colour and cut and following their advice to have an EKS treatment my hair also feels wonderful. Beautiful saloon and I will be in 5 weeks for my Christmas hair do!
Kate has done my hair now for some time and I cannot recommend Kate, Gary and the team enough. I have been very happy with the service, my hair, great location and salon. K2 prices are competitive with other salons and once again I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks Annie Routledge (was Paton)
Ive only rated it 1 star because I have to,to do the review. I would NEVER go back there,they have destroyed my faith in hairdressers. I was given, false info about the shampoo I use,told my shampoo had a really bad ingredient in it and I should stop using it and buy theirs as its better for my hair only to find that the ones they sold me had this bad ingredient in and none that I was using actually didnt. The shampoo they sold me has done nothing for my long curly locks Other than make it mega frizzy. When talking the strand test she took a chunk of my hair from the crown of my head as were its supposed to be from the underneath at the back so as to not leave a visible chunk gone, I was charged for a treatment I discovered after that I clearly didnt get. I went in for a dye job to cover my grey,i was told the colour I wanted couldnt be done in one go and that it would have to be done in sessions.Ive since found out this is untrue it just needs lightening first.....So I was just being strung along to make more money.. The worst part was I still left with grey hair, it was that bad my partner and children asked me if I had even been to the hairdresser as it looked no different! 140 and Ive never felt more ripped off in my life!..the grey was all on the top which I wasnt shown, but I was gutted when my partner showed me pictures of how bad it was (PICTURES BELOW ) It was so evident to my partner and children as it was on the top and crown, which I wasnt shown. it would also have been so clearly visible to the stylist and she just let me walk out like that! I would NEVER trust k2 again, after giving them opportunity to fix my hair, they didnt redo the whole thing they just stuck a darker colour on top,leaving me further away from the desired colour I wanted and had shown them in the consultation. I even pointed out there was still grey in the other colour (a red) but was told they are just doing the top, nothing else. The friendly service I had received originally had turned frosty like they couldnt get me out the door quick enough,I was made to feel really uncomfortable, like I was in the wrong for expecting them to sort it. I wasnt offered any discount for the inconvenience or any help towards my travel costs back to the salon for a second time. When Ive requested a refund providing dated and timed photo graphic evidence of the awful job done, I was refused the refund and offered a 25 hair treatment like I would really go back...not!...,I payed more for the hair treatment i was charged for and didnt actually get. so Im taking through a no win no fee claim.
Really enjoyed my experience today. Looked after by a junior member of staff who'd recently started, felt she really listened to what I wanted and confirmed back to me before starting. Lovely environment, music not too over powering, lovely coffee & chocolate. Will return
