Brought a bike from them about a year ago had no problems with it. Then recently went down for a weekends riding, and then realised that I was in the time for a free service. On delivering the bike a member off staff knocked it over and more or less shrugged it off so not a great first impression. Then to receive a phone call saying we will chance your tire but it isnt tube less like you said.( it was, and was sold as tubeless by them to me. So said it would be another 15 on top now so said carry on. They when I got the bike home all of the gears had been adjusted in correctly and breaks not blead or anything that was asked to be done. With out me knowing this at the time I handed over my hard earned 70 and left. WHAT EVER YOU DO! DO NOT USE BIG PEAKS! STAT AWAY.
Big peaks found me a bike that I can ride with my limited knee bend (due to a replacement knee) .I tried it out several times and decided to go for the electric version. I cant tell you how pleased I am. I feel free and my first expedition was Plymouth to Tavistock on the cycle track all the way, 29 miles in total. A beautiful route through fantastic scenery and I managed it very easily with the extra power up the hills! Ive been back for technical tips and accessories and they are all so helpful at Big peaks. How lucky am I to live up the road from them. Thank you all at Big peaks
Was looking for a road bike . Popped into big peaks they were really friendly & knowledgeable & showed me around there extensive range of bikes & accessories. Found a bike i liked (bike was called focus) took it for a test ride & ended up buying it. Will definitely go back for accessories & future bikes .
Bought a lot from these guys, including my powerfly5 eBike ( which is amazing )The guys at big leaks are super helpful ( even with my odd dumb questions ) and even better they are true bikers at heart, a couple do similar tracks that I do on Dartmoor, I really cant recommend these guys any better, pay them a visit and see fir yourselves!Now....how about a spare battery for my powerfly5? joking of course...or am I
