Stover Canal

At this point barges left the Stover Canal through two step locks to join the Whitelake Channel for their onward journey down the River Teign to the docks at Teignmouth. Now, the canal is accessed on foot from the Jetty Marsh Nature Reserve under the railway on a walkway constructed by volunteers of the Stover Canal Trust. The quay is visible but the locks have been built over by the railway.
