Got a lovely present for my mum !!!
My wife brought her wedding ring from the Newton Abbot store and was sold a silver ring to go alongside her white gold engagement ring. She clearly stated that her engagement ring was white gold and the staff were happy to sell her the silver ring. The metals reacted and it ruined her wedding day because she was left with a stained wedding ring after a reaction occurred. She went back to the shop today and they would not refund her. She was told it was her fault for buying a silver ring! I am now taking this issue to trading standards because this is disgusting and being blamed for this blatant failure to provide a professional service is not on. This sounds to me like desperation sales wise rather than providing correct advise on what she should have chosen in terms of compatible metals. Avoid this seller and certainly avoid the Newton Abbot store.
