Had a seasonal pitch here a few years ago. Staff were lovely and friendly. It was very quiet except for one illegal rave we heard which was nothing to do with the campsite. We had two small children and they loved it here. The play area could do with a proper park. That's the only thing I'd suggest for improvement.
A lovely, peaceful site (traffic noise from A38 but you get used to that - I've heard worse!) So what if the toilet shower block is a bit dated? It was always clean & never had to queue for the showers & most of the time nobody else in there. Saw lots of rabbits. There is a play area for children & an information shed with books, DVDs & a few games too. A relaxing holiday & our pitch was a good size. If you want a clubhouse, go somewhere else. We always choose a site which DOESN'T have one!
Basic touring and static site alongside the Plymouth Expressway near Haldon Hill and therefore noisy.Some newer terraced pitches for tourers but most are fairly small and closely arranged with very little development over many years.Suitable only for a nights stay over on your way to the cross channel port of Plymouth.
