Lovely campsite, we stayed down by the river for a 'wild' experience and absolutely loved it. Facilities are on the main site which were ok. Would definitely return.
Showers were temperamental. Dogs barking until all hours and noisy neighbours even though there are signs saying no noise after 10pm the site was still noisy at 2am!! We ended up packing up early and checking in to a hotel. Otherwise, the site is clean and tidy and staff in the bar/shop were friendly.
Great place for wild camp. Staff were really helpful. Small but perfectly formed!
Great place to stay.. staff very helpful and food from cafe really nice. Ideal little shop and bar on site. It's a Great place for kids with special needs and all the staff are very understanding towards them. all 4 of ours have special needs and they are very comfortable here, they even get to go horse riding with Holly on site which is worth every Penny because of the smiles they have here and the memories they take home. We enjoy it so much we come back 3-4 weeks a year
Great location for surrounding areas and very friendly people. Was a nice quite site, our only disappointment was the showers were small with no ventilation and toilets were very basic and not very clean but if you don't mind roughing it for a couple of nights then this site is great. We would stay again.
