Stayed in The Hut. Was lovely, clean and practical. Friendly staff, quiet campsite. We're a group of adults and were welcomed, but the campsite is family friendly too.
This is a working farm campsite so don't expect whistles and bells. Basically a field with a basic but good ablutions block and 6 electric hook up points.Walking is disappointingly limited from here without extensive use of roads.
This is the first time I've camped in Devon since becoming a University student at Plymouth. I came here with my girlfriend for the weekend as it had to be the cheapest campsite in the area. For 7.50 per person a night, it's hard to beat. There are two large fields and you are allowed to camp where you like. There are facilities here including a freezer, fridge, sinks, showers and toilets for anyone to use. The owner was friendly and welcoming so I was happy with the staff I encountered. One thing which I found confusing was both the showers and sinks only have a 'hot' mode. If you want to have cold water, there is a hose pipe in the middle of the first field. If you're looking for cheap camping in Devon, this does it for you.
Found this site by accident but i will certainly be back again. Nice little camp site. Very clean toilet blocks, friendly owners and a very relaxed site. Loads of flat space to pitch a tent.
A friendly family run site owners can not do enough for you. Very cold the other night went to cottage asking if they could lead me a blanket, and to my surprise one was produced. Thank you. A great week on the Moors
