old style Furnishings but lovely and clean . the Staff are friendly.
We have stayed a total of 30 nights this year at the hazelwood, and found it very clean, the breakfast is a breakfast. Lucy and all the staff are very polite and friendly, they are all excellant, we would always stay there when in Devon and would reccomend it to everybody.
Quite peaceful and decent guest house. We enjoyed our 3 nights of stay here. The owners are very very kind with their guests. I was highly impressed with their humble attitude. Place is very close to Newton Abbot railway station. Sainsbury and a big park is very closeby. A decent breakfast is served. We mentioned that we are pure vegetarians and the owner was very generous in arranging suitable breakfast for us.
Lovely place and would love to come and stay here again next time we come down to this part of the country. Very pleased and the my breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend staying here.
Found the host family to be exceptionally hospitable during my brief stay there. I stayed in a lovely, spacious double room for one night and was treated to a delightfully cooked English breakfast the following morning. The guesthouse is conveniently only a couple of minutes walk from the train station and a short stroll from the town centre. Would highly recommend staying in the establishment if in the area and I intend to return in the new year.
