Absolutely Amazing. Beautiful Relaxing place to stay. Wonderful food. Rooms are Beautifully decorated. The building has a long and Extremely interesting History and the staff are very knowledgeable on the history of the building and surrounding area. The staff are helpful , polite and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay. The owner is on hand and available. You can enjoy the company of the Locals in the Bar or relax in the quieter Lounge area by one of the toastie warm traditional fires.
If the chance beckons then Go Go Go... We were working in the area and happened upon this little place around 2030hrs one Wednesday evening.. It's a lovely little Inn with welcoming staff and very friendly locals, all who have many stories to share. Very cosy setting, open fire and a real warmth feeling to the place. We took a card and will definitely return with the family next time we are in the area and more than likely book a room and stay the night. But be warned, this little Inn really is in the middle of nowhere
Lovely oldie worldie pub and restaurant with a varied selection of food and alcohol.
Great Ploughman's! We are here on a weekday lunchtime and classical music is playing which is unusual but I really like it! A nice relaxing atmosphere and good food!
